Not sure where to start but all I have to say is WOW! Genevieve and Wilson didn’t get married just once….not twice….but three times!! This is just like the kind of stuff you see in the movies! And I couldn’t be happier as I feel so blessed to be part of all three weddings! It’s not everyday that you see & hear someone get married 3 times, but here are the stories behind each of their unique & surreal weddings…
Chapter 1 — The Snow and the tiniest Chapel
Ever heard of the “Living Water Wayside Chapel”? Situated in the small town of Niagara-on-the-lake, this chapel is famous for being in the Guinness Book of World Records holder for the smallest chapel in the world. With seating for only 7 people, we somehow managed to fit 12 people inside! It was also -10 degrees temperature outside, but it surely was nice and cozy inside the chapel, as we heated the 10×10 space with good ‘ol body heat! 🙂 After that heartfelt intimate ceremony, we were then treated to a wonderful meal at The Charles Hotel.
Chapter 2 — The grandeur of the mountains
This one was very special for me as it was my first time visiting the Banff, Alberta! With jaw-dropping sights left and right….I couldn’t be more stoked to capture this wedding! The ceremony was held in a very special hand-picked spot in Lake O’Hara, BC. Moreover, with Genevieve and Wilson being the seasoned pro hikers….we had to hike and pass 3 lakes to get to this special spot, but sure was worth it! But the fun didn’t end there….we then had to pitch our tents and camp overnight since the reception would take place the very next day at the Deer Lodge in Lake Louise. Now how cool was that! Surely, not many can say or let alone imagine the words “hiking” and “camping” on their very own wedding day! 🙂
Chapter 3 — The golf course
With the first two weddings being intimate weddings, Genevieve and Wilson went out with a bang to celebrate with the rest of their friends and family back in Toronto. They had a wonderful ceremony and reception at the Mandarin Golf Club where we were treated to a traditional Chinese 9-course meal! They even had a small part for their super cute dog, Dusty, as he walked down the aisle with one of the super cute flower girls! Last but not the least, we were graced with a gorgeous sunset that I surely couldn’t let it go to waste! 🙂
My warmest congratulations to you both! I couldn’t be more thankful & blessed to be part of all 3 weddings! Thanks for taking me along for the ride….I truly hope these photos will stand the test of time and tell an amazing story one day to your very own children!
