Amila and Roshan celebrated their 10th year wedding anniversary down here in Toronto where it all began! I think I had “redemption” written in the back of my mind all throughout this photo shoot! The redemption was not for myself, but on behalf of their original wedding photographer, who failed to deliver photos of both their engagement shoot and their very own wedding day! In a word, they simply “disappeared” after their wedding day and was never to be seen or heard from. My heart broke for this couple’s story and so here I am, trying, hoping to erase & fix that appalling experience for them.
This couple now lives in the small humble town of Kincardine, Ontario. But I think what’s cool about all this — is that Roshan made it a special surprise for Amila, as he kept this idea a secret from her the whole time! She had no clue they were doing this special 10th year anniversary photo shoot! Her eyes just lit up when she found out as soon as I met them in Centre Island Park, in downtown Toronto! Ironically, this is where they had their original engagement photo shoot done in the past!
I know these photos will not replace the distasteful experience you guys had in the past, but I sure hope I brought some joy back to those memories you lost. Thanks again for sharing your story with me! Happy 10th year anniversary! My warmest congratulations to you both!
